The Iowa Hawkeyes host 16th rated Wisconsin in their final home game of the season. The Badgers are 9-1 under first year coach and former Hawkeye Brett Bielema. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says Wisconsin does not look any different as the offensive coordinator remains the same. Ferentz says they have a new defensive coordinator, but are running the same scheme. He says Wisconsin is playing at a higher level now than they were last year.

Ferentz would like to the see the seniors win their last home game. He says it’s an emotional thing for any senior to play your last home game, as he says it’s a bittersweet day. Ferentz says this has been a great group of seniors and he hopes they can finish on a real positive note.

Stopping the run will be the key for the Hawkeye defense. Wisconsin’s P.J. Hill is the Big Ten’s leading rusher at 137-yards per game. Ferentz says it’s amazing to have a first year guy play with that consistency.

Iowa State coach Dan McCarney would like to pick up one last road victory when the Cyclones visit Colorado. ISU is 0-6 in the Big-12 while the Buffaloes have struggled under first year coach Dan Hawkins. McCarney says it’ll be a real challenge and there have been some good games in the series recently.

McCarney says Colorado does not look like a 1-9 team, as he says they’re playing hard. McCarney announced he is stepping down at the end of the season and says he hopes his team can have a “rocky Mountain miracle” on the road and win the game.
