Sheldon man won’t face charges in vehicle death

November 10, 2006 By admin

A Sheldon man, who authorities say was driving drunk when he ran over and killed an Archer man, won’t be charged in connection with the death. Twenty-five-year-old Joshua McPeek won’t face charges in the death of Jason LePaige. Investigators say LePaige died July 9th on an unlit gravel road in rural O’Brien County.

Evidence indicates LePaige was lying on the roadway when he was struck and killed by a car. McPeek was driving that car and was drunk. He’s been convicted of O-W-I by investigators couldn’t prove McPeek’s intoxication was the cause of LePaige’s death.
