Soldier from Riverside killed in Iraq

November 22, 2006 By admin

An eastern Iowa soldier has apparently died in Iraq.

Reports say 23-year-old Army Sergeant James Musack was killed Tuesday in fighting in Iraq, but no details have been released. Musack is a native of Riverside, just south of Iowa City, and he was a 2002 graduate of Highland High School.

Musack was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and was on his second tour of duty in Iraq. Family members say this was to be his last tour and he’d planned to come home to Riverside after being discharged and start a new career.
