A new style of play has produced record breaking results for the Waldorf men’s basketball team.
The Warriors are 5-1 and have topped the century mark four times this season. That includes a school record 135 points this week in a victory over Crossroads College. Waldorf coach Chad Brown decided to go up tempo after losing several big men off last year’s team.
Like all fast paced styles Brown says theirs begins with full court pressure. Waldorf has alread equalled last season’s win total and Brown feels that has helped the players buy into the system.
The Warriors visit Drake on Saturday.
