Chizik chosen for ISU

Officials at Iowa State University have reportedly chosen Gene Chizik as the school’s next head football coach.Chizik is currently the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator at the University of Texas. ISU athletics officials will hold a news conference tonight at six o’clock at Hilton Coliseum where they’re expected to officially introduce Chizik as coach. Chizik went to Texas after stints at Auburn and Central Florida. He would replace Dan McCarney at ISU, who resigned earlier this month.
