The state medical examiner has ruled the death of a 13-month-old Clinton County girl a homicide. Arryana JoLee Clark died Wednesday night at the Dewitt Genesis Hospital. The Clinton County Sheriff’s Department received the 9-1-1 call Wednesday evening and responded the rural Delmar home and found the injured girl. The State Medical Examiner’s Office has now ruled the girl died of head injuries, but was not more specific about the injuries or the possible cause. The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office says the case in under investigation and did not release any other details. The Clinton County Attorney?s Office says they are waiting on the autopsy and other reports and do not want to rush to any conclusions. The parents, Marvin Clark and Jessica Barnhart-Clark, lived in a building that had been converted into an apartment on the farm of Jessica Barnhart-Clark’s parents in rural Delmar.
