Drake coach Tom Davis wants to see the Bulldogs be more efficient on offense when they visit Iowa State on Sunday. Drake is 2-2 and despite being a veteran team has turned the ball over too much in the early going.

Davis says his team didn’t seem to have good timing in their offense as they’re trying to be an up-tempo running team and haven’t had the smoothness they wish to have. Davis says that’s not unusual.
The Bulldogs could use a boost from junior forward Klayton Korver. The Pella native is shooting under 30-percent after missing last season with a knee injury. Davis says every once in a while Korver shows glimpses of being better than he ever was, but Davis says Korver needs more work. He says the team overall needs work to be competitive in the Missouri Valley.

Drake will be looking to snap a four game losing streak in the series.
