Woman talks about Huisentruit case

December 5, 2006 By admin

A woman who says she knows details about the Jodi Huisentruit case has made her first public statements. The woman, identified only as “Cindy,” spoke Sunday night on a Twin Cities TV station. She said six men were in a group that abducted the Mason City TV anchor the day in June 1995 that Huisentruit disappeared from the parking lot of her apartment.

Claiming she was there though she was only 13 years old at the time, the woman says the group took Huisentruit to a barn northwest of Mason City and over the next day and-a-half killed her and cut up her body. The woman says in an interview with Mason City police she gave them the names of the men, and police have said they’ll treat the claim seriously and investigate her story.
