Teen dies in accident near Clarion

A teenager died in a one-car rollover on a country road this morning in north-central Iowa. The State Patrol investigated the one-car accident that happened just after seven this (Friday) morning southwest of Clarion in Wright County.

Fifteen-year-old Eric Watts of Clarion was driving a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am when the car went into a ditch, then struck a pole and landed on the driver’s side. Watts was pronounced dead at the scene.
