An accident on an eastern Iowa work site has resulted in death. Authorities have not released the name of the 48-year-old construction worker who died in an accident Wednesday afternoon in Atkins.
The Benton County Sheriff says deputies were called to a construction site after a worker was hit by a piece of earth-moving equipment. He was flown to a Cedar Rapids hospital where he was pronounced dead.
