Singer Al Green will be the headliner for the “One Iowa Gala” to be held at Hancher Auditorium in Iowa City on Thursday, January 11th. He’ll share the stage with a few other Iowa musicians. Actor Tom Arnold, an Iowa native who attended the University of Iowa, will emcee the event.

Green is described as a singer of soul, rhythm and blues, and gospel. He is an ordained pastor and has won 10 Grammys. One of his best known hits is “Love and Happiness.”
