The Iowa State women’s basketball team returns to action tomorrow in Des Moines when the Cyclones play St. Louis University in the Wells Fargo Arena. It will be the first game of a doubleheader that will conclude with the Cyclone men taking on Bradley.

I-S-U coach Bill Fennelly says you hate to take away a home game, but he says it’s a great facility and a chance for fans to see a different venue. St. Louis is off to a 7-3 start and has already equaled last season’s total for wins under a new coach.

Fennelly believes this is a key point of the season with the start of Big-12 play coming up at the beginning of next month. He says his team is playing well and they could lose that momentum in the last weeks before Christmas if they don’t play well.
Iowa State is 7-1.
