The U-N-I men look to pick up where they left off before final exams began. The Panther’s 8-1 start is the second best in school history and they will take a six game winning streak on the road to Loyola of Chicago. U-N-I coach Ben Jacobsen says while many of the key players remain this is a different Panther team.

Jacobsen says they’ve been able to push the basketball more and that’s a result of having more depth inside. Jacobsen says more depth on the front line allows them to more aggressive on offense. He says in the past they haven’t push the ball more so they didn’t wear out their inside players. But now he says that’s not as big a problem. Loyola is 7-3 and the preseason favorite to win the Horizon league.
