The funeral for an Iowa soldier this week will include military honors. The funeral and burial arrangements have been made for a Greenfield, Iowa soldier. Lance Corporal C.J. Miller was killed last week in Iraq.

The service begins at ten Wednesday morning at the Nodaway Valley High School in Greenfield, where he graduated in 2001, and Miller will be buried with full military honors by the U.S. Marine Corps, at the Calvary Cemetery in Creston. Classes have been canceled for that day at Nodaway Valley schools in Greenfield and Fontanelle.

The family’s asking that any memorial donations be made in Miller’s name for a trophy case at the Nodaway Valley High School, by sending in care of Steen Funeral Home Box 390 in Greenfield with a zip code of 5-0-8-4-9 or to the Clinton Jon Miller Memorial Fund to protect his military brothers.
