There?s been a change of venue in the trial of a western Iowa man charged in a child pornography case. A Federal Magistrate ordered the change of venue for Brian Street of Griswold, after discussions with attorneys representing both sides of his case.

The 38-year old is accused of sexually abusing his stepdaughters and instigating in child pornography. His trial was originally scheduled to be held in Des Moines, but in March 2005, Street?s attorney asked for it to be moved to Davenport over concerns of pre-trial publicity. But, last August, the government requested the trial be returned to Des Moines, and the judge has ruled accordingly.

The trial is set to begin January eighth. Street?s stepdaughter Tracey Dyess set fire to the family?s home in Griswold in March 2005 in an attempt to kill Street for years of alleged sexual abuse. Her younger sister and nephew died in the fire.

Tracey is serving a 45-year sentence for the crime. Her grandmother Diane Street and mother Debbie Street have been subpoenaed by the feds to testify at Brian?s trial. It?s not known if Tracey will be called to the stand.
