Guttenberg man faces murder charge in accident

The driver authorities in northeast Iowa say is at fault in a deadly hit-and-run case is facing more serious legal trouble. Additional charges are filed against a Guttenberg man charged last week with vehicular homicide.

The Clayton County Sheriff says 44-year-old Curtis Pierce is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of 32-year-old Terri Petit of Guttenberg in an incident Christmas Day. Pierce is being held at the Clayton County Jail. The investigation is still underway.
