January 4, 2007 By admin

The Iowa Hawkeye women lost their second straight home game to a rated foe. Tenth ranked Purdue built an eight point halftime lead and the Boilermakers cruised to a 68-58 win.

Iowa coach Lisa Bluder says mistakes were the difference, as they has 21 turnovers. Bluder says the turnovers took away a chance to score and gave them easy points.

Iowa did have some bright spots as Bluder says the did a good job on the boards, but she says she’d like to see more points out of the inside players.
