The Iowa Hawkeye women held off a late rally by Northwestern for a 63-61 win in Big Ten play on Sunday. The Hawks squandered a ten point lead mid-way through the second half and had to withstand a last ditch effort by the Wildcats who missed a potential tying shot prior to the buzzer.

Iowa coach Lisa Bluder says it took one defensive stop and they got it. Megan Skouby had a season high 25 points to lead Iowa. Bluder says any road win in the Big Ten is good and now they have three in a row. They now go to play Indiana.
