ISU hopes to build on Missouri comeback

The Iowa State Cyclones hope Saturday’s come from behind win at Missouri can set the tone for the Big-12 season. The Cyclones rallied from 16 points down in the second half to win their conference opener. I-S-U coach Greg McDermott says they did some good things defensively to put themselves in a position to wint. McDermott says they gained by being in a tough spot and learning how to win.

McDermott hopes the victory will provide the Cyclones with a boost in confidence. He says anytime you have a group of people with their backs against the wall and they figure out how to get out of it, they gain confidence in each other. The Cyclones return to action Wednesday night when they host Nebraska.
