A Storm Lake man is in custody, charged with making a bomb threat. Fifty-seven-year-old Michael Greve is charged with making a false report to police. Just before 8:30 last night, someone in Buena Vista County called 9-1-1 and said there was a bomb planted in the Storm Lake Wal-Mart.
The store was evacuated and searched, but no bomb was found. Investigators traced the bomb threat, which was made on a cell phone. Police went to the mobile home where the call was placed and found Greve inside. The damaged phone was found underneath the mobile home. Authorities say they don’t know why Greve made the bomb threat.
