January 15, 2007 By admin

The winter storm that hit north-central Iowa has claimed the life of a Texas man. Thirty-six-year-old Huitao Yang died when he lost control of his car and slammed into a bridge pillar while driving northbound on Interstate 35 near County Road B-20 just north of Clear Lake.

The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at about 4 o’clock yesterday (Sunday) afternoon, with Yang being taken to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa, where he was pronounced dead.
