Fire damages Mason City business

January 24, 2007 By admin

Firefighters battled a blaze at an ag processing facility last night. Mason City firefighters responded to a soybean dryer bin fire at AGP on the city’s southwest side last night. The fire started at about 7:30 last night with firefighters needing two engines and an aerial ladder truck to fight the fire, using around 15-hundred gallons of water a minute to battle the blaze. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire, and company officials are still assessing the damage.
