A northeast Iowa meat processing plant is recalling more than a ton of wieners that were apparently underprocessed. Agriprocessors in Postville reportedly shipped approximately 2,700 pounds of frankfurters to some East Coast states, including New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

A company employee discovered the problem with the meat, and Agriprocessors issued a voluntary recall. No one has gotten sick from the underprocessed food. The wieners were sold in one-pound packages, labeled "Supreme Kosher, Classic Frankfurters", made with beef and chicken.
