Two Iowans are accused of using the Internet to meet with an underage girl for sex. Two convicted sex offenders from eastern Iowa have been arrested for allegedly contacting a 14-year-old girl on the popular MySpace.com website and arranging to have sex with her.

Twenty-four-year-old Scott Seehawer and 20-year-old Winston Ramsdale of rural Walker in Buchanan County, apparently met the girl from Hiawatha on the Internet in December. They drove to Hiawatha to pick the girl up, drove her back to rural Walker and had sex with her. The two were arrested after someone tipped off authorities. Ramsdale and Seehawer told officials they thought the girl was 20-years-old.

Both men are on the Iowa Sex Offender Registry: Seehawer on a conviction for having indecent contact with a child, and Ramsdale for a second-degree sexual abuse conviction involving a girl younger than 13. The men were being held in the Buchanan County Jail on $25,000 bond.
