The Iowa Hawkeyes will put a 12-game Big Ten home winning streak on the line Sunday afternoon against second rated Wisconsin. The Hawks are 3-3 in the Big Ten after a 16-point victory over Penn State and will need a big effort to extend the winning streak at home.

Iowa coach Steve Alford says Wisconsin comes in at 20-1 and it’s a good game to showcase the program. Alford says they’ve won 22 straight home games and are going to be excited to play the Baders. He expects a great atmosphere, and says his team will be ready to get back home.

Wisconsin is 6-0 in the Big Ten and this will mark the first game in Carver-Hawkeye for Badger freshman Jason Bohannon. The former Linn-Mar standout is averaging just over 14 minutes per game and is off to a great start according to coach Bo Ryan. Ryan says when Bohannon plays, he plays with the passion of trying to be the ultimate player.

Iowa is 11-9 overall.
