Lawler woman dies in accident

The Iowa State Patrol is investigating a weekend accident that killed a Lawler woman and put five other people in the hospital. The accident happened Saturday afternoon on Highway 63 in Chester when a van driven by 40-year-old CynthiaJerdee crossed the center line and collided head-on with an SUV driven by 34-year-old Kevin McClure of Stanwood.

Jerdee was killed in the accident. Her passenger, along with McClure and three of his passengers, were taken to Rochester for treatment. The accident was investigated by the Iowa State Patrol.
