Body of missing Fairfield man found

The body of a missing southeast Iowa man has been found. Jefferson County authorities are investigating the discovery of a body found Monday afternoon at a construction site in Fairfield. According to authorities, the man, who was last seen by family Friday, was found in a field.

At this time authorities believe no foul play is suspected and believe he was walking and either fell or collapsed. An autopsy will be performed to learn the cause of death. The name and age of the victim has not been released
