Iowa State women’s coach Bill Fennelly says he had nothing to do with the start time of this Sunday’s game against Missouri. Fox SportsNet will televise the game that tips off at three o’clock and means fans will have to miss their Super Bowl party to attend the game.
Fennelly says he’d rather have a party and begged and begged to get the game time changed. On the bright side fans can break away from some of the pre-game and watch the Cyclones.
Fenelly says he’s had a number of people call and say they’re sorry, they’re going to be at Super Bowl parties. Iowa State returns to action Wednesday night with a visit to Nebraska.
