The Iowa State Cyclones return to action Tuesday night at home against Missouri. The Cyclones are 3-5 in the Big 12 Conference after snapping a five-game losing skid with a victory over Baylor.

The Cyclones beat the Tigers in Columbia in the first meeting after coming back from 16 points down in the second half for a 66-65 win. ISU coach Greg McDermott says they stole a game at Missouri and the game was one or two plays away from his team losing by 20. McDermott says his team hung around long enough to give themselves a chance to win.

McDermott says it will be crucial for the Cyclones to limit turnovers. He says the Tigers have a little bit different type of pressure than they see otherwise. The ISU coach says seeing the pressure the first time should make it a little better in handling the pressure Tuesday.

The Tigers have struggled to a 2-6 conference record and are coming off a home loss to Nebraska. Missouri coach Mike Anderson says a lack of rebounding has hurt his team. He says they’re not playing the way he wants them to play and when they get to that place, he says they’ll be a whole lot better.

Anderson says a lack of rebounding has prevented the Tigers from playing the style they would like. Anderson says if you get the offensive rebounds, then you’re in a position to be able to get some fouls. Anderson says the lack of rebounding gives the other team more possessions and that catches up to you.

Missouri is 13-8 overall. Iowa State is 12-10.
