Accident west of Woolstock claims a life

One person was killed in a crash in north-central Iowa early today. Wright County authorities responded to a one-car accident around 2 A.M. Wednesday, resulting in a fire and one fatality on County Road C-70, west of Woolstock.

The victim’s identity isn’t yet certain and the Iowa State Medical Examiner is working to confirm the person’s name. The crash is still under investigation by the Wright County Sheriff’s Department and the Highway Patrol.
