The Iowa Hawkeye women will be out to snap a five-game losing skid tonight when they host Michigan in the Big Ten. This will be their second game without starting center Megan Skouby, who will be out a few weeks after breaking a bone in her non-shooting hand last weekend.

Until she returns the Hawkeyes have only eight healthy players but Iowa coach Lisa Bluder says the toughest stretch of their schedule is over. Bluder says six-three junior Stacy Schlapkohl moves into the starting line-up. Bluder says Skouby made the most of the opportunity last year when Schlapkohl went down with injury, so it’s a kind of reversal of fortune.

Iowa is 3-7 in the conference race and 11-12 overall.
