UNI women hope to move up in MVC

February 8, 2007 By admin

The UNI women look to climb the Missouri Valley standings tonight when they visit Evansville. Both teams are 7-4 and tied for third in the league race and Panther coach Tony DiCecco says the little things will make the difference during the stretch run.

DiCecco says they’re real similar with a lot of teams in that many of their games are close. He says winning the close games can make the difference in a conference race. DiCecco says their four loses were by a combined 11 points, so each possession can be big.

UNI is 13-9 overall. Evansville is 14-8.
