The Drake women are at home tonight against Creighton in Missouri Valley Conference play. The Bulldogs are just 2-9 in the Valley but they are hoping for a strong finish. The Bulldogs play five of their final seven games at home.

Drake coach Amy Stephens says they’re excited with the opportunity to play at home at the end of the season. Creighton won the first matchup in Omaha and Stephens says the BlueJays are a tough matchup for her team. Stephens says it is a tough matchup and Creighton has won six of their last eight, so it will be a "huge dog fight."

Creighton is 6-5 in the Valley but coach Jim Flannery’s teams have struggled at Drake in recent years. He says Drake has been good at home lately but Flannery says most of the players don’t know they have played poorly at Drake. Drake is 7-14 overall. Creighton is 9-13.
