The Iowa Hawkeye women snapped a five game losing skid as they rolled past Michigan 66-49 in Iowa City. The Hawkeyes are now 4-7 in the Big Ten and it marked their first league victory at home.

Iowa coach Lisa Bluder says the win has been a long time coming for the players who have worked hard and missed some wins. Bluder was happy with their play on defense as she says they held Michigan right at their field goal percentage and outrebounded them. Iowa is 12-12 overall and visits Wisconsin on Sunday.
