The Iowa Hawkeye women fell behind early at Wisconsin and lost to the Badgers 84-73 on Sunday night. Jolene Anderson tied a career high with 29 points for the Badgers who shot an impressive 50 percent for the game.

Iowa coach Lisa Bluder says the Badgers shot way over their averages, which she says seems to be a trend against them. Bluder says they lost track of Anderson too many times. The biggest key was rebounding. The Hawkeyes were beaten on the boards 38-24.

Bluder says the worst part was on the Badgers offensive boards as they got 15 of the possible 30 rebounds there and that allowed them to get more shots. Bluder says she was really disappointed that they got outrebounded by 14. The Badgers improve to 7-6 in the Big Ten and 18-8 overall. Iowa falls to 4-8 in league play and 12-13 overall.
