The mother of a five-year-old Floyd County girl who slain in the summer of 2005 is now having her two younger children taken away from her. A Floyd County judge has terminated the parental rights of Noel Miller to her two younger children a year-and-a-half after her daughter, five-year-old Evelyn Miller, was abducted and killed.

Floyd County Associate Juvenile Judge Gerald Magee has permanently terminated Miller’s legal ties to her three and two year old sons who have been in foster care since shortly after the disappearance of Evelyn from her family’s apartment in the town of Floyd.

Miller will be allowed to have one final visit with her sons in the next few weeks. Miller’s live-in fiancé at the time of Evelyn’s death, Casey Frederiksen, has voluntarily signed away his rights to his two sons. He is in prison after pleading guilty to downloading child pornography onto his computer.
