Company plans to add 330 jobs in Ottumwa

March 27, 2007 By admin

Good news about some new jobs planned for south-central Iowa. An international market-research company has announced plans to open a survey research call-center in Ottumwa. Synovate will locate in the former AIPAC telemarketing center, once renovations are done.

The company says it’ll hire 300 full- and parttime people, for jobs from entry-level to supervisors. The company selected Ottumwa after a search that culminated last October, and already runs call centers in British Columbia, California, and Florida. Synovate becomes the seventh to locate or expand in Ottumwa since 2005.
