Waterloo bus/pickup crash injures four

March 27, 2007 By admin

Four people are being treated for injuries after a city bus and pickup truck collided in Waterloo. The crash happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. Monday at a city intersection close to downtown.

Police believe the pickup pulled out in front of the Metropolitan Transit Authority bus, but the accident remains under investigation. Police say the two vehicles collided in the intersection, then smashed into a retaining wall that protects a local car dealership. The four people hurt in the crash were sent to the hospital. Police don’t believe any of the injuries are serious.
