NW IA man charged with sex abuse

April 13, 2007 By admin

A man from the northwest Iowa town of Rock Rapids is facing sex abuse charges.

Lyon County sheriff’s officers say 20-year-old Kyle King is charged with five counts of third-degree sexual abuse. Investigators say King is accused of committing five sex acts with a 15-year-old girl in the fall of 2006.

King was in the Lyon County jail at the time of this arrest. He allegedly failed to register as a sex offender. He was convicted three years ago of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse.

Deputies say the investigation is still open and more charges are possible in the near future.
