A man-made lake in Adams County is full for the first time in three years. Dan Carl, director of the Adams County Conservation board, said by Thursday it was nearing the spillway. Carl says the re-filled lake will make amenities around the lake usable once again, including docks at the marina, boat ramps and a good-sized beach. Carl says the rainy, snowy spring on top of winter precipitation have helped.

All the snow added two or three feet to the lake, he says, and recent rains brought the level up to where it’s "close enough to call full." A renovation project deepened the lake two years ago.
