Plane makes emergency landing in Webster City

A small aircraft made an emergency landing today in Webster City. A twin engine, six passenger plane made an emergency landing near the airport at about 12:15 this afternoon after the plane experienced trouble with its landing gear. Three passengers were on board. They were the instructor and two flight students from the Iowa Central Community College Aviation Class.

The plane belongs to Storm Flying Service of Webster City. The plane made several passes over the airport until it made its landing on a grass runway. There were no injuries. All three were able to walk away from the incident. An investigation’s underway to find the exact cause of the plane’s problems.
