Twenty-one-year-old Rosario Escobado was killed when the car she was driving was hit by a westbound Illinois Central freight train near Arion, about six miles from Denison. The sheriff says Escobado crossed the tracks while lights were flashing and an audible warning signal was sounding. There were no crossarms at the intersection.
