June 23, 2007 By admin

A South Dakota man died in a two-vehicle collision in Sac County near Schaller Friday afternoon. The Iowa State Patrol says 19-year old Michael Tabbert of Hudson, South Dakota was driving east on U.S. Highway 20 when he crossed into the westbound lane and struck a pickup and travel trailer.

Tabbert was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, 57-year old Robert Van Meetern of Sheldon, along with a passenger, were not injured.
