Richardson tells rivals to quit bickering

August 2, 2007 By admin

Democratic presidential hopeful Bill Richardson says the bickering between his party’s two frontrunners over foreign policy should stop.

Richardson says the tiff between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton will only energize the Republican Party.

"I think it’s too early. We’re six months away from the Caucuses," Richardson says. "…We should stop that (bickering). We should talk about what we’re going to do."

Richardson made his comments Thursday during a campaign stop in Eldridge.

Hillary Clinton has called rival Barack Obama "naive" for stating he’d meet the leaders of hostile foreign countries like Iran and North Korea during his first year in office.
