Search for missing Cedar Falls boy has happy ending

August 6, 2007 By admin

A frantic search for a missing child has ended happily in Cedar Falls. University of Northern Iowa public safety officials say ten-year-old Brandon Williams was found alive and safe Sunday night, almost 11 hours after the search for him began.

UNI officials started searching for Williams around 8 A.M. Sunday after receiving a report that he apparently walked away from a family housing unit on campus. After getting the call, public safety officials asked the public for help in locating Williams. UNI officials says the boy was found around 6:45 last night and has been returned home.
