A pair of unbeatens collide in eight-man football tonight as fourth ranked Lenox visits number eight Murray. Lenox is averaging 70 points per game and coach Allen Dukes says this game comes at the right time. Dukes says they need a good ballgame to push them and see where they’re at, as early on the varsity has been off the field in the third and fourth quarter.

Dukes says the competition gets much tougher beginning tonight, as they face Grandview Park Baptist next week. Lenox beat Murray 20-0 a year ago. Murray coach Keith Shields says Lenox shut down their running game last year. He says they need to control the ball and shut down Lenox’s explosive offense.

Shields will depend upon an experienced line to get the running game going. He says they have done a good job and gotten things going on offense, and many of them play on defense and have done a good job there too.
