State troopers have released more details of a fatal weekend accident. A 73-year-old Paton woman died Friday afternoon of injuries received in an accident on Main Street in Gowrie in Webster County. The Iowa State Patrol identified the victim as Ladonna Ann Kombrink.
Reportedly Kombrink was driving a Dodge Dakota pickup in reverse and then stopped. Kombrink apparently got out of the truck but did not put the vehicle in park. It was believed that Kombrink was knocked to the ground and may have been run over by the truck. The Webster County Sheriff’s Department assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
