An 0-10 team stands in the way of UNI’s quest for 11-0

November 16, 2007 By admin

UNI can complete an unbeaten regular season with a victory over Southern Utah. With a victory the Panthers should get the number one seed in the playoffs.

UNI coach Mark Farley says since they don’t control that, they aren’t going to be concerned with it. Farley says every time you try to project what’s going to happen with the seedings, things just get screwed up anyway.

Farley says Southern Utah is much better than their 0-10 record. He says most of their halftime scores have been very, very close, but he says the road travel probably takes an effect on the team. Farley expects Southern Utah to be much more competitive than Indiana State was a week ago.

Farley says last week was a mismatch from the start, but Southern Utah has played a tough schedule and played well with top 20 teams.
