Osceola man dies in accident

November 28, 2007 By admin

A single vehicle accident in south central Iowa has claimed the life of the driver. The Iowa Highway Patrol reports a Clarke county man died in an accident this morning south of Osceola.

Thirty-three-year old William Mongar of Osceola was driving south on Highway 69 when he lost control of his car which left the highway and into the east side ditch and hit a culvert and rolled onto its top facing north.

Mongar was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene by officials.
