Cherokee County authorities say a power line worker died after a power pole fell on him in a boom truck. The accident happened Friday afternoon while workers were working on a new transmission line.
One of the poles the workers was on snapped, pinning a worker with a wire. It took awhile to lower the worker to the ground. That worker was pronounced dead. Authorities have yet to release the name of the victim.
